Privacy Policy

Last updated July 1, 2026

OpenData is open-source software you run on your own infrastructure. This policy covers only the website at opendata.dev and its documentation. It does not cover software you download and self-host — that runs entirely on your systems, and we never see its data.

No accounts, no personal data

You do not create an account or provide any personal information to use this site, read the docs, or download the software. We do not ask for, collect, or store names, email addresses, or payment details.

Analytics

We measure aggregate traffic — page views and referrers — to understand what's useful, using Vercel Web Analytics (which does not use cookies and does not track you across sites) and Google Tag Manager. This data is aggregate and not used to identify individuals. We do not sell it or use it for advertising.

Third-party links

The site links to services with their own privacy policies, including GitHub, Discord, and our documentation host. When you follow those links, their policies apply.

Changes

We'll update this page if our practices change and revise the date above.
